Sonorous is a wearable equine device that is designed to support the treatment of colic. Colic is severe abdominal pain relating to issues in the gastrointestinal tract and is currently the leading cause of death in horses. Using heat and vibration, this device strives to soothe and comfort the horse during a stressful episode. This proactive response aims to assist veterinarians and reduce the amount of colic related surgeries and deaths.
