Entry Description

Enthusiasm for motor sports marks this interior’s conceptual framework. The theme ‘movement’ is reflected metaphorically and constructively in the reinterpretation of a museum-scale, functional garage. The column-free interior offers space for garage, bar and service areas on the first floor. The folded acoustic ceiling is a cross-functional connecting element between all floors. Corresponding to the structural movement of the cubature bridging 20m of altitude difference, it strives towards the ceiling’s opening ribbon windows; it strives towards daylight.
