Entry Description

Snowland Air Base is located beside a ski resort development in Hebei Province, China and it is the first private airport in the district. Strategically located on a plateau, its elongated architecture echoes the delicate horizon line, and resembles a dance between the earth and the sky. The plan is divided into several triangles to accommodate various functions, and the triangular roofs tilting at different angles ensure a sense of lightness and let the building "fly". The use of triple-glazed glass maximizes the natural light and offers breathtaking views of the mountain.
