Jinsheng Square in Yongqing Fang in Guangzhou's Old Town, once a hub for renowned Cantonese opera artists, emphasizes cultural exchange, showing Western influence on Lingnan architecture. The project reflects how Guangzhou's commercial success introduced cobblestones, and it considers local spatial order and axial relationships. Through landscape and urban details, it narrates stories of cultural exchange and vernacular traditions. The square is envisioned as a charming garden space for the community's daily enjoyment.
