Indigo began as an experiment to utilize various denim and canvas scraps. I aimed to hold these scraps together using vinyl through a process called thermoforming (heat-pressing), which required no stitching or glue. As I explored denim further, I started stuffing scrap fabrics and yarns inside pieces of denim, stitching them closed, and then cutting them open. After washing, this process caused the denim and canvas to fray, resulting in a very unique look. Using this method, I created a large piece measuring 35 inches by 35 inches. I envision these samples being used in interiors & fashion
