The Swoop Chair is a plywood lounge chair made from custom-laminated cherry veneers. Almost 75 years after the Eames Lounge Chair (LCW) was introduced, the Swoop chair reimagines the bent plywood furniture for the 21st century.
Swoop was created by laminating veneers just 1/25" thick into an organic shape under full vacuum, which allowed for freeform molding of the plywood contours.
