This project is a formerly dilapidated Edwardian department store in London, restored to create a series of inspiring work and social spaces for a multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice.
Original elements including 111 year-old parquet flooring and a grand staircase were preserved. A striking reception and modelshop animate the street, while a generous social/event space is on lower ground floor. The office floors expose the the process of making in bespoke desking systems. A new rooftop bar/restaurant is comprised of a series of oak pavilions with copper roofs and a glass dome.
