Redesigning a 100-year-old film industry publication.
Inspired by the graphic history of the magazine and the classic covers from the 100-year archive, the new design references this history, while also transforming it into something new. A more visual approach to storytelling was introduced, along with bolder use of photography and a flexible 12-column grid that allows for more diverse layouts and a greater mix of sidebars, infographics, and pull quotes.
The redesign aims to modernise the magazine, making it more modern, and visually impactful for a contemporary audience.
