IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Final Deadline November 30, 2024
The design of the 2020 report was focused on the harmful practices: female genital mutilation, child marriage, and son preference. The report shows their impact on girls’ and women’s health, and rights throughout their lives, the impact on demographics, economies, development, and eventual achievement of the SDGs. We visualized the impact of these issues through different mediums of expression, found from around the world, with creative placement of original artwork, handwritten testimonies, street art, and inspired photo treatments. www.unfpa.org/swop
