During the pandemic, our brief was to develop a calming creative platform to express the need for a long-term investment focus. Our theme, The Test of Time, was bought to life with a metaphor of NZ’s hardiest native tree, the tōtora. It stands tall & proud today but its trunk’s knotted rings show it has weathered many a storm, becoming stronger because of them. An illustrated trunk cross section became the lead visual device. Tree photography enhances the story while a serif font offers timeless qualities & tōtara-like strength. The overall earthy tone enhances that calm, in-control, feeling.
