To construct this material, the desired structural outcome was built using 3D modeling software that allows the effects of the surface to be realized before weaving. The model was then rendered to yield an image compatible with the Jacquard weaving software. The surfaces created represent not only the structural capabilities of Jacquard weaving but also the capabilities of 3D modeling as a method of creating woven material. By taking pre-existing resources and considering alternative applications for their processing, new ideas for traditional textile and material creation can be explored
