The museum night Amsterdam is the one night a year all
museums are open for public. With 27.500 visitors it's
the biggest museum night in the Netherlands. We were
asked to develop their campaign for 2012. We decided to
visualize three totally different characters, which are still
recognizable as a family. Their common characteristic is
that they possess something alienated. They indicate the
diversity of the visitors, without being archetypal. The
portraits were put in a theatrical frame made of elements
from the N8 (organization behind the museum night)
identity. The posters filled the streets of Amsterdam last
october, as well as the 'peperbussen' (a typical billboard
type of Amsterdam).
