Writer's House

The client, Hao-Yi Wang. He is a famous historical writer. I believe writing is the most significant part of his life. Therefore, as a designer, the priority of my design is to create a quiet space and a peaceful atmosphere to write for an extended period of time. Moreover, the writer has many friends and colleagues such as professors and artists. They would go to his place for the book club and debate the context of the book. Providing a welcome social space for them to hang out is crucial to the overall function of this house.
