Entry Description

Restoring the natural beauty and livability of a key destination in Vietnam

BCD has created a master plan to capitalize on the unique beauty of Tuan Chau Island, the gateway to Ha Long Bay which is famous for its thousands of karst formations. The popularity of the overall destination, however, together with the ensuing development have led to severe environmental degradation. Thus, the master plan has, at its heart, the aim of rehabilitating the environment while also creating a highly desirable community in which to live and visit.
