Launched at London Fashion Week, the collection entitled Forbidden Walled City, inspired by the mysteries of Beijing’s Forbidden City, and Hong Kong’s now extinct Kowloon Walled City, the collection promises innovations with the brand’s trademark East meets West dichotomies complementing the sustainable concept. The collection uses authentic silk brocade from Sichuan and Canton, both are the intangible cultural heritage of China. Chinese knot buttons handmade by a local workshop. The collection bridges and parallels the Hong Kong with the famous and well-preserved Beijing Forbidden City.
