Entry Description

An educational recycling bin system designed for public spaces to reduce food and liquid contamination and increase recycling rates using a clean stream recycling model. The Recycle Right bin features an items display of concrete examples of common non-recyclables, a slide-able lid, and a transparent receptacle. It helps to build a positive social norm to recycle right with the right material and quality collected. It serves both the environment and public through an eco-positive system that enables awareness of clean recycling, education through a participative touchpoint.
