“Prolonging for Essence” came as a reaction and answer to fast-fashion consumerism while indulging in sustainability. By collaborating with FABSCRAP, a New York nonprofit, and ISKO, a sustainable denim manufacturer, I created a zero-waste unisex collection that is durable and adjustable. The wearer has the ability to curate the garments, from adjustable waistbands and hems to removable pockets and sleeves. Like the flowers preserved in the materials used, I hope to bring attention to the idea of preserving garments and encapsulating the precious journey they accompany you through.
