The Museum of An Garda Síochána documents the history of policing in Ireland. The graphic design component comprises more than 60 interpretive panels; almost 200 caption cards; way finding signage; and branding. The first half of the museum spans from the 7th Century through to the early 20th Century. These rooms use an historic colour palette. The second half of the museum deals with the formation of Ireland’s modern police force. The colour palette here changes accordingly, reflecting both the contemporary narrative and the brand identity of the police force.
