Gibbston Valley Lodge

A boutique scale hotel development consisting of 34 villas, central lodge & spa, and was to appear as a residential expression of the brand. A luxury experience to allow the existing winery onsite to share more with those who love the incredible location & wines. The intent was to create spaces that gave the sense that the buildings had always been there. Gibbston Valley produces single vineyard wines that are a true representation of the terroir & our design focuses on this aspect throughout. Materials co-ordinate with surrounding geography through use of local natural, materials & colours.

Founded in 2004, Space Studio is an award winning, full service design studio. Our studio specialises in bespoke, luxury designs for hotel, commercial and residential projects throughout New Zealand and Oceania.
