Entry Description

The Old Forge, a 19th-century building, has been transformed into a stunning two-bedroom home. Retaining its industrial character, the design showcases original elements such as large windows and restored forges. Challenges included obtaining planning approval in a conservation area. Sustainable features like a ground source heat pump and reclaimed materials were integrated. The renovation combines historic charm with modern design, creating an eco-friendly and inviting living space. It serves as inspiration for future projects, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in renovatio
