Djitsun Mall Bedok is a reconstructed cineplex-mall with façade and rooftop greenery acting as urban envelope buffer to the transient and busy intersection of Bedok Town's Transportation Hub and its site surroundings. The upper floors housing new cinemas is expressed as a curtain-walled block for sound buffer, and lower floors expressed as a distinctive retail façade infused with vertical greenery. The motif and inspired form of the façade planter boxes pay homage to its cinematic past and heritage with blue lights adding overall visual appeal by emphasising movement, rhythm and order.
