Entry Description

MARUWA is a global manufacturer of ceramic components for electronic chips. The concept "Bridge" is a physical manifestation of its determination to connect to the world while passing on a local tradition to the next generation. The site, known for illegal dumping was transformed into a community-focused public plaza. For employee wellbeing, an airy atrium was designed to provide for both work and communicate, redefining the typical “closed box” factory. As part of the site transformation the design included sustainable natural ventilation supporting MARUWA’s commitment to SDG’s.
