Entry Description

The new library in Kalasatama is an experiential and holistic spatial artwork that lives and breathes in a world where each of us aspires to be free. Citizens involved in the design process wanted the library to be a joyful, playful and inspiring space amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The final result of the design is a dreamlike space that encourages visitors to discover something new, to let go of the familiar, and to redefine the ordinary.
