MAPLEWOODS is a menswear collection inspired by the nature of Canada and the lost woods. The collection is characterized by function and utility through a mix of tailoring, sport-wear and a selective color composition. Classically ironic lumberjack elements are re-born into silhouettes of modern power and poise; thus, the wearer is prepared to go from a trek in the mountains, to dinner at 8, then lounge at 10, and all they need is already on their backs. MAPLEWOODS captures the off-key essence of North American woods meets the outside world--A mystery and adventure into the great Northern!

Izzy Du is a Canadian fashion designer who completed her foundation at Central Saint Martin’s and is in her final year at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Izzy Du presents both men and women’s wear with a focus on eco-effectiveness; her objective is to create timeless and seasonless collections to increase the value of a garment by reducing built-in obsolescence in clothing. To Izzy Du there is humour in darkness and seduction in danger, she seeks to dress a formidable being, unpredictable and unafraid to get lost on a path that can’t be seen.
