Located in Resovo, Bulgaria is REZERVAT, a multi-functional border checkpoint and refugee resource center. Asylum seekers have always existed in places where persecution takes historical precedence. What’s unique about this particular facility is the principle of humanitarianism, and operating on an agenda of benevolence, where no human seeking asylum is subject to refoulment or further persecution. Facilities like these play a major role in the story of any and every migrant for generations to come, and given that significance, it needs to be done right.
