Inspired by traditional Chinese gardens, Aedas designed the Jiangyin Yushan World project, which aims to create a resort-style integrated complex that consists of 25,000 square meters of themed hotel and 49,000 square meters of retail space. Facing the picturesque Yushan Bay with a distant view of Ding Mountain, the design celebrates the idea of “journey” and selected natural landscape elements of ‘rock, wood, creek, and hill’ as design blueprints for each space. We created a diverse open-air retail and resort destination, allowing the architecture to become part of the site landscape itself.
