METAMORPH

Project Metamorph is inspired by metamorphic rocks and speaks of inner strength.
The starting point is the eternal fascination with nature and its perfect balance of irregular organic forms. The metamorphic rock is made up of several layers of particles formed through heat and pressure, just as a human personality builds over time, by constantly filtering experiences and feelings. This formative process is never ending, always dynamic. People reach balance by building inner strength.
The collection consists of 9 proposals for the cold season 2019/2020.

Sabina Georgescu is PhD student at the University of Arts, Bucharest, an MA graduate at the University of Arts, Bucharest, Fashion Design Department.
She is a fresh Romanian designer inspired by architectural, and geometrical shapes, that she balances with feminine or floral features. Unconventional fabrics, bold vibrant colours and edgy contrasts define her eclectic style. The refined, calculated elegance of feminine gestures and posture is completed by perfect lines and finishings to create that unique look.
