Occupying a corner site, a century-old, mixed-use 3 storey building was in decline from more than a decade of neglect. The building now houses office spaces including a design studio and a coworking space for creative professionals, a marketing agency and an indie coffee shop. The uppermost floor houses the Architect’s own design studio where a commitment to social and environmental sustainability inspired a natural material palette that is timeless, warm, and textured, comprised of the original exposed brick, maple floors, and Baltic birch slats and millwork.
