Peruvian Government wanted to promote artisans work in the north of Peru. They work textile, pottery, woven straw and other traditional techniques. Although their beautiful handmade work they needed better and more modern designs to attract new customers. The goal of the project was to design and produce a 90 pieces collection and a pop-up restaurant for Casacor Peru 2016 design fair. Time was really short, 2 months for research, travel, meet the artisans, explain them the project, understand techniques and history of each region for our inspiration, design the collection and the pop-up restaurant, and produce everything. To take advantage of the high ceilings we focused the collection design in handmade pendant lamps done with textile, pottery and metal techniques. We also designed all furniture used to put together the space. This peruvian inspired restaurant was a big success for local and international press and visitors at the fair.
