My practice contextualizes the primitive energy that is submerged beneath the layers of my desire to decorate the body. My inspiration comes from personal experiences and everyday observations of life. My youth was encircled in aged trees with tangled routs juxtaposed with arid landscapes of pale sand and coral. The structure of my aesthetic comes from architecture, landscape and nature through materials and processes. Through colorful examinations of human nature expressed in abstracted geometry, I strive to link the beauty I find in my observations and personal interpretation.
