The Pescador Residence is a redevelopment project with the primary objective of maximizing the view potential of the property (previously little, to no, viewing opportunities)which was better understood through the use of drone photography and realized during the design process by optimizing the unique views of Newport Back Bay and city lights through the use of large glass volumes which are layered with solid mass, such as the floating concrete wall, to create privacy at the street while heightening the arrival sequence.
