Entry Description

For Autism: Many autistic children are affected by Sensory Processing Disorder(SPD), causing irrational reactions to loud noise, sudden touch, or even hugs from familiar adults. Using Sensory Integration Therapy(SIT) in the weighted petal-like blankets, Olli offers these children a way to use SIT in the classroom, home, or therapeutic settings. For Sustainability: Olli encourages kids and their parents to think about the world in terms of material, rather than in terms of function by having to find soft goods in their environment to fill their recycling sack.
