Entry Description

Project encompasses the total renovation of the 180,000 SF historic mill complex (age of buildings range from 1840 to 1960) into 82 apartments and 40,000 SF of commercial space. Original materials including granite, brick, structural wood decking, and heavy timber framing were retained, restored and repaired in place. New Hydro Power facilities were installed to reintroduce site generated power to the project. Project is on the National Register of Historic Places and utilized State and Federal Historic Tax Credits for financing.
