Sirocco

Referencing the Spanish Mission heritage of the home, our concept for the furnishing and finishing of ‘Sirocco’ on Sydney’s upper north shore is cosy West Coast cool. The client brief was to address a blank slate of clean walls and empty rooms, transforming them into cosy, comfortable and inviting spaces for living and entertaining.
A natural palette of timber, linen, steel and stone with crisp whites and earthy tones creates a cohesive, transitional aesthetic with an emphasis on flexibility, functionality and natural light. Relaxed and inviting, the interiors exude character and warmth.

Kate Nixon is an Australian stylist, designer, founder and director of her eponymous, award-winning interior design firm and homewares boutique based in Sydney, Australia.

Kate leads an all-star team of talent who are passionate about interiors and committed to excellence.
