The Reserve Bank wanted to better express who they are & what they stand for. We created We Enable, an engaging brand story, to capture their purpose, values & ambitions for NZ’s financial wellbeing. It informed a refreshed visual identity, starting with enabled people photos and added the hues of NZ’s bank notes.
For the logo, Tāne Mahuta (tree) became a metaphor for their role as guardians of the financial ecosystem. The logo’s overarching canopy lets the sun in, nurturing & protecting life beneath. The five lines represent the parts of the monetary system, weaving as one to lift prosperity
