From the main living spaces that hug the sea view and thus forming a deeper sense-although they do not have high ceilings-to the personal living spaces that focus on a cacoonlike sense of privacy, it was a must that every corner was according to the residents’ habits and the “colour-form-material-style†equilibrium was the rendering of a common projection of the residents’. In order to turn spaces that have relatively low ceilings into bold and unique houses, we needed a clear architectural language. Instead of going for “the functional†sense fearing from these restrictive features of the house, We challenged ourselves to have a new say. We put the color black and the art notion into our spine. It is possible to define the interaction between the design and decoration as aesthetical beauty, conformism and practical use.
We preferred natural materials to get balance for a space that was “loudâ€. Thanks to the natural materials such as wood, marble, glass and brass, we got both “the contemporary of decoration†and the date of the future. We cleansed the house of the fittings and installations through underfloor heating, ventilation system built-in the chimney space. We reinforced the nature-structure interaction by providing entrance to the garden from every floor.
