As an interior design professor, I teach my students about reducing their impact on the land, choosing sustainable materials and educating clients on the benefits of sustainability. I decided to put my money where my mouth was and show my students that tiny homes could also include the amenities found in traditional housing. I wanted to use my tiny home as a teaching tool, reduce my living expenses, lessen my footprint on the land and show that downsizing didn't have to mean downgrading and that luxurious amenities CAN be included. At 8'-6" wide by 28'-0" in length, the home is 275 sq. ft.
