Entry Description

The design of SoGa aims to spark spontaneous interactions among strangers in open spaces. This aids in the post-pandemic recovery as people are used to social distancing. Individuals can choose between relaxing alone and interacting with others, as it is configurable from a large bench to a back-to-back backrest chair. An interactive tablet is embedded in the center seat. The overall design is inspired by configurable, multipurpose structures thus the passive function of benches can now be a configurable-interactive bench without being too intrusive as some people may want to relax peacefully.
