Entry Description

A cooperative office in Tokyo, run by Shizen Energy Inc., embodies sustainability and abstractly mimics nature. Designed with the concept of "Entrance to the Blue Planet," it connects people's consciousness to nature. The floor, slightly lower than ground level, symbolizes the living soil beneath Tokyo’s concrete, featuring recycled tiles with their raw, uncolored backsides turned outward. This innovative approach repurposes tons of tiles discarded daily. Above ground, cedar louvers represent trees, and wall gradations echo the sky, creating a harmonious, eco-conscious space for collaborations.
