When Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits moved its corporate
headquarters, it wanted an environment where its 100
employees would thrive and the company could grow. The
Client chose a 43,500 sf high-rise office space, and not
unlike the current wine industry, Designers sought to
juxtapose tradition with a more contemporary, playful,
inviting interior. Interior spaces are set apart with glass
walls, creating visual connections and pulling natural light
throughout. Underlying the overall design is the idea of a
more tailored corporate look in executive areas, while
creative areas like marketing, the tasting room, and the
pantry have a more playful mixed-aesthetic with open
ceilings, warm rustic oak flooring, re-sawn wood paneling,
reclaimed wood feature walls, all with modern detailing.
Designers created lighting patterns reminiscent of grape
vines, and conference rooms are designed with barrel-
shaped mill-work. The creative marketing services space is
highly collaborative, with sit-stand desks and interactive
screens.
