Weihe River Landscape Pavilion, located in a riverside park, served as a landscaped terrace, shop, and public toilet. The architect transformed the roof into a structural elevation with contemporary logic, the façade textured with rammed earth responds to the traditional context. Edges blurred in two ways: cutting wall rolling over for fluent views from building to woods; the lights reflected on copper plates as inner surface. The greenery shadow appeared in the interiors for an immersive sense of space and nature. The contrast in materials hints at primitiveness origins from contemporaneity.
