Entry Description

The ?Year Of Creativity Box? is a self promotion initiative. It contains 366 illustrated business cards which show 366 different, imaginative professions (one per day in 2008), all of them
addressed to the person who receives the box. Its purpose is to make prospective clients experience the degree of creativity of the agency and to convey the philosophy that animates it.
The initiative has been developed over different media (e.g. www.yearofcreativity.com) and has already earned the agency a considerable set of potential clients? contacts.

Bio

He starts as a graphic illustrator in 1994 working for the Moruzzi studio in bologna. In 1998 ha is hired as art director at the Nouvelle communication agency, in 1999 he becomes the creative director of the corporate image division. He has co-worked with Igort, Yumi Karasumaru, Iori and other artists from the Bologna area. He has been working with Igort on several publishing projects for Alessi and Coconino press. He enters LCD Florence in 2001, and there he becomes creative director of the advertising division; during the following years he masters web design and video motion too. During 2002 he leaves LCD and begins to work as a free-lance with several communication agencies. In 2003 he founds the disciplinary network TRE. In the following years he keeps collaborating with many agencies and he gains some direct clients such as: Mandarina duck, Sissirossi, Provincia di Ferrara, Comune di Faenza, Museo Carlo Zauli, Fabrica, Enel, Scout, Fiorentini+Baker and others. In 2007 he creates in collaboration with Totem, "Mumble...", a laboratory of un-conventional social communication in Second Life.

Nel 2006 ? docente all?Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna per il corso di
Metodologia della comunicazione grafica.
