It is rarely seen an innovative design of a traditional street house in Taiwan. According to the sustainable design, the passive design was used when lavatory and staircase are placed at the east and west side of the building to make lavatory keep dry and cool. This would result in less air conditioning. Besides, all the windows of the rooms facing to the outside park while the doors of the rooms were faced to the open cut would connect the park and open cut of the living and let the fresh air come inside the house. It forms a non-toxic and non-pressure living space with the new design.
