Entry Description

Design brief was to create a simplified country interior with indoor cross over outdoor that reflects the concept of its vegetarian food for the cafe.

Artificial turf was laid in selected areas, complete with green wall. Glass partitions are lined with sheer fabric to create in-door windows. Pallet planters constructed from recycled timber formed the country style fencing to mark off secluded seating areas.

Certified GREEN materials such as calcium silicate boards, Kalsa bricks, recycled timber, green certified laminates, water based lacquer, environmentally friendly rubber wood furniture, low VOC green label paint and timber veneer are used generously in the project.

All in all, Beyond Veggie is a cafe design to be a truly green conscious eatery, from its food right through to interior spaces.
