Entry Description

Designed in 4 levels, the hostel blocks taking a cue from the old city streets of Mathura, twist and turn along the length to create discernible individual spaces, oriented towards the north along a wedge shaped site. In addition each room is punctuated with a wedge shaped bay window oriented towards North and a ventilated opening towards the corridor facilitating cross ventilation and reducing the heat gain of the building. 20' High volumes house the Cafeterias and Games Rooms creating 2 focal points opening into North facing gardens and terraces. Usage of bright colors accentuate the blocks.
