IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Final Deadline November 30, 2024
My father passed away in 2015 and I inherited his stamp collection. The collection was is a state of disarray and I was going through it while listening to the 2016 presidential debates. I found myself looking at images of Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington, but listening to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Like many others, I felt stuck between a rock and a hard place. I realized that I wanted to use my design skills to become more politically, socially, and culturally engaged—these stamps are part of my effort to do so.
