Pod

Pod is a hand-stitched hard-case clutch encasing a softer hand-made bag. Its design was an exploration of folding and cutting leather to manipulate the shape of the bag. By using traditional hand stitch with waxed thread, I aimed to transcend what handbag design is and what it could be once we break the boundaries of design and mix it with traditional techniques.

The Pod clutch exterior was made of madison leather (3 mm) and skived on the edges for angular construction. The inside of bag was made of smooth leather (1mm) with a mag snap closure.
