Entry Description

Existing acoustic barrier has only one effect of blocking noise from vehicles, and there is no other function that improves the environment. Therefore, we dedicated to create a new design and find solution. The main component of emissions are NO3-, and NH4+ , and also the components to cause acid rain. So, we use the nitrogen-fixing ability of the moss to decompose these components that causing air pollution.

In the future, air pollution problems and certain environmental afforestation will be effectively improved and the highway guardrail will be no longer just an acoustic barrier.
