Entry Description

The purpose of the New Zealand Research Information System is to connect users to a diverse array of research projects that the New Zealand Government has supported. A mark was created that emphasizes the pathway one takes on their way to obtain information, from user to system to knowledge. The identity represents the simplicity, ease of use, and utility inherent in the system with an aesthetic nod towards traditional Māori weaving patterns, all of which creates an identity that is uniquely New Zealand.
