IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Final Deadline November 30, 2024
The original site of the art museum is an abandoned one-level accommodation area of a metal shaping factory in Tongzhou district . To make the art museum as a public street space is the basic design idea. To combine the original old bar buildings into an art area that people can participate freely, we focus on the in-between spaces, which connected with each other together . To consider the original buildings collective as it’s reversion prototype-the cutting out tunnels and caves on a one-piece rock, the fragmental exterior area was re-organized and became an integrated "inner art space".
